The House
(why we love it)
Location, location, location!
Bright is a town best explored without a car. At the end of one of the most centrally located and convenient residential streets in town, the kids have the freedom to roam and adults don’t need a designated driver.
Hand Clad!
Once a commission house, this centrally located and now beautifully renovated feature home was lovingly and painstakingly transformed over a decade to be clad with local rock.
Visit Anytime!
The deciduous tress in autumn, the indoor fire in winter, the blooming garden in spring or beautiful shade in summer. This property needs to be experienced and enjoyed more than once.
Room to park 2-3 cars and store a handful of bikes on the front porch.
Fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, sandwich press, coffee plunger (full espresso machine coming on the horizon). Plus a range of cocktail glasses just in case…
Free Telstra NBN broadband wifi and smart TV.
Heating and cooling galore. Four split system ACs, fans in all bedrooms and indoor and outdoor fire places.
While we think groups of all shapes and sizes will love the space, the sweet spot for our property is two families of four.
Two great adult rooms (noting one is off the deck) and two great kids rooms, allows groups to not only share the holiday fun but split the cost. Both adjacent properties to the south side are also holiday rentals and the main Bright caravan park is 100m away so coordinating big group or family reunion is really achievable.
Three full bathrooms, including one that doubles as a laundry, ensuring everyone is comfortable.
The Deck!
Spacious deck includes oversized BBQ, picnic table and outdoor lounge.
Washing line, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, hair dryers and all the other little things that help for longer stays.
One of the most densely planted blocks in Bright, you are almost guaranteed to be visited by a flock of laughing kookaburras around sunset each night with the extensive gardens attracting many bird species.
The Books!
Not a weird 1980s sporting autobiography in sight. From all time hard cover classics to modern best sellers, there is something for everyone.
The Piano!
While not fully in tune these days, the old piano has plenty of life left in it, be that for chopsticks to Chopin.
The Games!
Board games, cards, kids toy corner and outdoor game chest. Fun for the whole family.
